About Us
​Started in 2012 as a You-Tube channel, Local History Channel segments have since been seen on Cablevision in the New York Metropolitan area and, more recently, on PBS. Jim Ormond, a former reporter and print editor, pulls together a talented team of actors, narrators, researchers, videographers and video editors to tell these stories.
